"If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I would spend six hours sharpening an axe," Abraham Lincoln once said. Good preparation is certainly important, but in our complex world, digital tools in particular help us get through hectic everyday life. One problem remains, then as now: Ultimately, someone still has to do the work.
